"The arm sleeve is my first serious tattoo/art piece on my body. It's a Maori-influenced tattoo; there are 4 parts to it which represents love, life, friendship and peace. On the underarm, there is a Chinese character of Wong; I have another in Arab which means safe and peaceful travelling and the third is Shalom in Hebrew which means peace.

Rephaim means healing in Hebrew. The star on my elbow is like a cartoon action when you hit someone. The box frame could mean respect like, when you see a good work which you want to see it framed and it could also mean, 'I've been framed'."

"Generally, all my tattoos symbolise a place and time - a moment that I had wanted to remember. The angel on my back (the center piece) was my first tattoo when I was 17, and back then, the whole concept of angels just meant a lot to me. I guess I liked the idea of angels - whether or not I believe in them, don't ask.

The one on my leg, the three stars, I did it on the last night in New York, before I flew off to Brazil. I was at a bar downtown, and I did the same tattoo on the same spot with this newfound Brazillian girl I met in Florida - it was suppose to symbolise our connection but I have not seen her since that night.
